Philip Ashlock

I'm a public servant building digital civic infrastructure to improve public services, open government, and engender civic engagement. I strive to help design and study creative solutions to empower people and serve community. Currently, I support open data, public feedback, and analytics teams at TTS Solutions in the U.S. General Services Administration.

I've led the development of the Open311 standard for interacting with government through an open feedback channel and served as a Presidential Innovation Fellow working with the GSA and the White House Office of Digital Strategy on MyUSA. I'm also an alum of OpenPlans, a NYC based civic technology organization.

Many of the projects I've been involved with are cataloged at Civic Agency.

You can find me on Mastodon, Twitter, Threads, and LinkedIn. Stay tuned for updates here and at Civic Agency and please feel free to contact me.
